The Long Range Hunter is built around the state-of-the-art Defiance Renegade Action, featuring a one-piece, pre-hardened aircraft-certified 416 stainless steel receiver for tighter tolerances and peak performance, with the bolt body and handle machined from 4340 chrome moly in a single operation. The Legacy Swept Bolt Handle provides a slightly longer, perfectly swept profile for fast, smooth bolt cycling with increased scope clearance — essential as modern optics continue to grow in ocular diameter. An integral recoil lug adds rigidity, the Precision Extraction System ensures reliable extraction and smooth cycling under any conditions, and the Open Sheep Hunter loading/ejection port reduces weight while remaining easily accessible even with gloved hands. Defiance Anti-X and titanium Ti-X actions are available as well.

Our Rifleman stock features the best blend of grip shape, comb height, and forearm dimensions of any hunting rifle on the market. Whether you're shooting prone with a bipod, standing with shooting sticks, or sitting in a blind, you'll have a comfortable cheek weld and grip for a confident shot. We use McMillan's lightweight EDGE technology with light fill and a carbon fiber shell for maximum strength and rigidity in a stock that weighs less than 28 ounces. Standard Fill is also available. Every stock is individually aluminum pillar and glass bedded to your specific action for a precise one-to-one fit that will maximize your rifle’s accuracy and stability through years of hunting.

We use only the best stainless steel barrels available. Your build is unique to you, so we will select the optimum barrel contour, length, and twist rate to best suit your needs.
Our experienced machinists will thread and chamber your barrel specifically for your action, resulting in the best tolerances achievable. Fluted or Non-Fluted barrels and Muzzle brakes and threading for suppressors are available. All metal is coated in our tough Cerakote finish in the color of your choice.

We do your barrel break-in and test accuracy with factory ammunition that is readily available. Every one of these rifles is guaranteed to shoot 1/2” groups at 100 yards with factory hunting ammunition. Our accuracy is not only guaranteed, it is verified. Every aspect of your rifle's performance will be tested and proven. We will shoot the rifle from a bag rest to test and verify proper feeding, extraction, ejection and accuracy.
