Specter Works is our new Special Projects division that produces a very limited number of cutting edge, new rifle projects that are very different from our normal product line. This lets our talented team come up with some really cool new ideas.  

PROJECT #1 : FATAL FOLDER 338 ARC

THE FOUNDATION

If you are not already familiar with the 338 ARC, look into it. It corrects the main issue with the 300 Blackout; the 338 ARC actually has knock-down power! The 338 ARC subsonic ammo uses a massive 307 grain, Sub-X bullet with almost twice the energy of the 300 Blackout. The Sub-X bullet is designed to penetrate and expand at subsonic velocity, so when you shoot pigs, they don’t all run off. The supersonic ammo uses a .338 caliber, 175 grain hollow point going just North of 2000 fps in our 16.5” barrel. That gives you a pretty decent trajectory out to 200 yards.

THE FATAL FOLDER

MDT Carbon Hunt 26 stock with folding butt stock. Fully extended, the rifle is only 35.5 inches long. With the butt stock folded it is a very compact 27.5” in length. The stock comb and length of pull are fully adjustable so kids and adults can both shoot it. This build features Custom Champagne Dark Earth Cerakote color, and the Specter Carbon Mirage paint that allows some of the carbon fiber stock material to show through.

MATCH GRADE ACCURACY

The barrel is a 16.5”, Benchmark, 1:8 twist, #6 contour that we have threaded 5/8X24 for a suppressor. This rifle has perfect balance, especially when suppressed.
