Black Timber Series
Sometimes there is a small niche that needs to be filled. Our Black Timber Rifles provide a custom rifle approach to two somewhat out of the mainstream cartridges; the 350 Legend and the 450 Marlin. Both of these are most commonly found in lever action rifles that tend to be less accurate and less friendly to mounting a scope than a modern bolt action rifle. We combine the Tikka T3 action with a Lilja match grade stainless steel barrel and McMillan Sako Hunter fiberglass stock in our Black Timber camo finish.
Each rifle is individually aluminum pillar and glass bedded for maximum accuracy and consistency in any weather condition. The triggers are tuned to a crisp 2.75 pound pull. The factory polymer trigger guard is replaced with an aluminum trigger guard. And, all the metal is coated in a Graphite Black Cerakote finish for weather proofing.
As always, we do the barrel break-in, accuracy testing, and find the factory hunting load your rifle likes best. Scope mounting and sight in is always included. You can provide a scope or select a new Swarovski, Kahles or Nightforce scope from our inventory.
- Only 8.5 pounds of recoil. This is about 20% less than a 243 Win.

350 legend
- With 3500 to 4500 ft-lbs of energy at the muzzle and 45 caliber heavy bullets, this is a compact, hard-hitting cartridge for Black Bear, Elk, Moose, and wild hog in thick terrain where shots are close.
- 20” barrel length makes this an ideal pack rifle in timber and a great back up rifle for guides.
- Recoil is close to 300 Win. Mag. levels but bullet weights are 325 to 400 grains so its worth it!
