The 338 ARC subsonic ammo uses a massive 307 grain, Sub-X bullet with almost twice the energy of the 300 Blackout. The Sub-X bullet is designed to penetrate and expand at subsonic velocity, so when you shoot pigs, they don’t all run off.
The supersonic ammo uses a .338 caliber, 175 grain hollow point going just North of 2000 fps in our 16.5” barrel. That gives you a pretty decent trajectory out to 200 yards.
