How To Ship Rifles

Before shipping your rifle to Hill Country Rifles, you must have a pending work order for one of our services. This ensures that your firearm is properly logged, tracked, and received by our team upon arrival. Please contact us in advance to set up your work order before sending your rifle. Hill Country Rifles does not accept FFL transfers. We only receive firearms for service, repair, or customization that have an approved work order on file.

HOW TO SHIP YOUR RIFLE

Shipping your rifle to HCR for our services is now easier than ever! Check out your shipping options below.

  1. HCR SHIPPING SERVICE

    Our convenient HCR Shipping Service makes it easy to send your rifle in for work safely and securely. We’ll ship a protective rifle case and box directly to your address, complete with a return label. Simply pack your rifle in the case, and send it back to us using the included shipping materials and drop it off at your local UPS store, UPS hub, FFL, or from your business with normal UPS pickup. Once our team completes your rifle’s service, we’ll handle return shipping back to your door, ensuring your firearm is delivered safely and hassle-free. It’s the most secure and straightforward way to get your rifle to and from Hill Country Rifles. This service is $299.99

  2. HCR UPS LABEL

    We’ll provide you with a UPS shipping label so you can safely send your rifle to Hill Country Rifles using your own box and packaging. Once your rifle is complete, we’ll ship it back to you using your case and box. Please note that return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility and will be included on your final invoice. This service is $95.99.

  3. FFL Dealer

    Customers may choose to ship their rifle to Hill Country Rifles through their local FFL dealer. Your dealer can handle the shipment on your behalf, ensuring all federal firearm regulations are followed. Once the service or customization is complete, we will return the rifle directly to the same FFL dealer for pickup. The return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.

  4. USPS

    If you prefer to handle shipping yourself, Hill Country Rifles offers a USPS Shipping Option for customers who wish to send their rifle through their local Post Office. Simply package your rifle securely and ship it directly to our address using insured USPS service. We recommend using a hard rifle case inside a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. Once your rifle’s service or customization is complete, we’ll arrange return shipping back to your address using UPS. The return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility and will be included in your final invoice.
