Custom Long Range Hunter

Our Long Range Hunter is similar to our Carbon Rifleman but uses a more traditional match grade, stainless steel barrel as opposed to Carbon Fiber.  The steel barrel allows us to hit weight ranges from 6.5 to 10 pounds simply by changing the barrel contour.  So, we can build it as a lightweight carry rifle or a heavy rifle, perfect for stand hunting.

THE FOUNDATION

We apply our one-to-one aluminum pillar and glass bedding system to the action. Our bedding system does not utilize a generic bedding block or chassis. Instead, we machine individual bedding pillars that match the radius of your action and full-length glass bed the receiver and recoil lug for a perfectly mated fit between your stock and action. We then bed the bottom metal so it is exactly square to the receiver.

THE RIFLEMAN STOCK

Stock design is extremely important when designing a long range hunting rifle. Our Rifleman stock is a right-hand dedicated design with a comb height, palm swell and overall grip shape that is absolutely perfect for prone shooting, but also great from a sitting or standing position. It does not require an adjustable comb or strap on cheek piece. It is not bulky like a typical tactical stock. This means the Long Range Hunter is no heavier than a standard weight sporting rifle. Rifle weight ranges from 6.5 to 7.75 pounds while delivering every design detail needed for optimum long range shooting.

CLASSIC STEEL BARREL

We precisely thread and chamber a Lilja or Benchmark Match-Grade Stainlees Steel barrel. Fluted or Non-Fluted barrels and Muzzle brakes and threading for suppressors are available. All metal is coated in our tough Cerakote finish in the color of your choice.

VERIFIED ACCURACY

We do your barrel break-in and test accuracy with factory ammunition that is readily available. Every one of these rifles is guaranteed to shoot sub-½” groups at 100 yards with factory hunting ammunition. Our accuracy is not only guaranteed, it is verified. Every aspect of your rifle's performance will be tested and proven. We will shoot the rifle from a bag rest to test and verify proper feeding, extraction, ejection and accuracy. You will receive the final targets and ammunition data.
