Custom Traditional
Not everyone is looking for a long-range hunting rifle in a tactical style stock. Our Traditional rifle is built in the classic style, with Monte Carlo or Straight Comb Cheek Piece, slender forearm, and a normal grip shape.
The Defiance Action features a one-piece bolt construction with deep spiral flutes and very open “Sheep Hunter” loading and ejection port. The port design reduces action weight and makes it very easy to load cartridges into the rifle, even in gloved hands.
The comb height of the stock is ideal for traditional scope mounts using a low to medium 1” ring, or a low 30mm ring. We do not recommend mounting on a picatinny rail as this puts the scope too high for comfortable cheek weld and scope acquisition.
The Traditional is available in right hand and left hand configurations.
