The Genesis rifle truly is a new creation. We have taken the most modern stainless steel bolt action and fit it with a beautiful, traditional English walnut stock.
The Stiller action is one of the finest bolt actions made today. The fluted bolt, modern ejection port, and precise CNC tolerances provide a cutting edge design.
Combining the stainless steel action and barrel with a traditional, classic style English walnut stock culminates into a gorgeous, contemporary, weather resistant wood stocked rifle.
Every stock is made from a hand selected, AAA Plus grade, English walnut blank. Final inletting, shaping, checkering, and finish is done by hand. The stock is in a classic style with a cheek piece, with two-panel checkering on the grip and forearm, and a 1” Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The stock is finished in a durable, hand-rubbed, oil finish that penetrates and protects the wood.
As is the case with every Hill Country custom rifle, the action is aluminum pillar and glass bedded with a free-floating match grade barrel.
Every Genesis rifle is guaranteed to shoot ½”, 3-shot groups at 100 yards with recommended factory ammunition. Delivery time is typically six months.

American Classic Rifle
Our American Classic rifles combine the accuracy Hill Country Rifles is famous for with the beauty and perfection of an exquisite walnut stock.
These are heirloom rifles. We build only two such rifles each year. We will put well over 150 man hours in to each build. Delivery time is appoximately two years. Michael Ullman is a long time member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild and is currently serving the Guild as its president. Michael has been part of the Hill Country Rifle team for 10 years. Mr. Ullman will build your rifle from start to finish. Each stock is inlet by hand for perfect stock to metal fit. Every wood pore will be filled and sealed to prevent swelling and shrinking. Each rifle is aluminum pillar and glass bedded to maximize accuracy and stability. We use only the finest English, French, and Turkish Walnut blanks, all perfectly aged, air-cured over time. Your stock is finished in a special hand-rubbed oil finish, over many stages, many days and weeks, to a perfectly even, clean, 1000 grit finish. Each stock is painstakingly checkered by hand in a 24 lines per inch, multi-point pattern with Mull border. Fluer-de-lis checkering is also available as an option. A real Ebony forend tip is standard with a Widow's Peak available as an option. We use only the finest materials for our bottom metal, grip caps, and cross-bolts. Sling studs are fully inlet into the stock. All action screws, grip cap screws, and sling stud screws are timed for symmetric alignment. Engraving is an excellent way to further enhance these fine rifles. We are happy to connect you with our engraver, Mark Swanson. Mark will work directly with you on design. We will send Mark the metal when it is ready for engraving. Mark will return the metal to us for final metal finish work and shooting.
